Just put a new set of cv axles and ft hubs in a customer Jeep at Lochmandy's and our parts dept called out for them to Hoffman's I think and we got a new brand (in a blue box). They were very nice product and way less than OE.

Could that be an indication you have another problem?

Axle housing or knuckes bent? Never know if the last guy though he was Bo Duke and jumped it...
One would think the U-joint would compensate for a bend in the housing...unless they are bad and vibrating the wheel bearing...

Has it been aligned recently?

Then you are buying junk. If you are now on your 4th set hopefully you've bought lifetime warranty ones?

I bought mine at Autozone. I know most of their stuff isn't great, but the hubs were Timken and they make a good product. They also sell a valuecraft brand. I'd stay away from those. I'd say if you get a major brand Timken, NTN etc. you should be ok.
