Post by jwrizek »

I'm powder coating my wheels, what do I do with my center caps and tire pressure sensors? Has anyone power coat there wheels and run into this? Thanks for the help.

Remove center caps and tire sensors, reinstall after powdercoat.

I didnt know if my best bet was to try to match spray paint to powder coat, leave them silver or try another color or what. Sorry for not explaining well. Thanks for the help.

I PC'd my wheels and then just lightly sanded the center caps and painted them. If you go black its easy to match with a satin paint. Don't know about the pressure sensors though don't have them.

The set I had powdercoated I left the centercaps silver to help the black pop more. Depends on your preference I guess.
