My 33x12.5 tires are rubbing on my flairs, not majorly but enough I need bump stop extensions. With stock flairs not trimmed, and wanting to get the most upward travel, how many inches of a bump stop extension is needed? The most common length is 2", but is that more than unnecessary?
Also, What is the best kind of extension?

Thanks!

Have to be careful on tjs fronts. They can and will bend the stock tube in the center of springs. .do you have extensions now???.

I have a set of Rubicon Express Bump stops that I never used... be happy to let them go for $10 if you're interested. They are like the style in your top picture.

Great! If people think those are alright extensions and that is for all 4, I will buy them. Do they have the bolts and everything needed? Are you planning on going to the Wakarusa Parade this Sat? I will be there. ...Just curious, do you know, are they 1" or 2" extensions?

Also, if you or anyone has some 2" TJ budget boost lift spacers I would be interested in those. Thanks!

you need to measure how much room you have now, then cycle the suspension to see when the tires start to rub, measure how much room you have left and that will be your approximate bumpstop extension needed, if your not good with numbers maybe someone can help ya  i have a pair of the lower bumpstop pictured if you need them :D

Thanks Dave, I will give that a try. I'll need 4 bump stops. Once I get the spacer lift and bump stops I then may be interested in your trany drop if you are wanting to sell it. ...I know I will at least need someone(s) to help me install the lift when I get to that point. :D

Are those rear bump stops Dave? If so what do you need for them? Mine are completely gone!

This is what I have... They are for the fronts (only two). http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Lift-Kits ... %2fERE1380

I don't think I have the bolts anymore though.

I can't make it to the parade but I will be at the end of the Road Rally. If you want them before rust we can make other arrangements.

Taylor you can use those for the rear, and if you pull your springs out of the front, drill & tap the lower spring pad, then you can adjust your bumpstops with hockey pucks

Thanks guys. A lot of good ideas here. I think I may be just leaning toward just buying a set of 4 of those first pic bump stops with all the mounting hardware for $23 (shipped) online.
