Need Help! Can't get the mud stains out.

Post by jwrizek »

I went up to the Hummer plant for Wheelin For Autisum, now im trying to clean my Jeep. I got stains from the mud on the soft top and plastic window. I've washed it twice and they will not come out. How do I get them out? Im not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if its not let me know.

Thanks

You shouldn't use any glass cleaner on the plastic windows. Use a plastic cleaner like Plexus or the Mopar plastic window cleaner. Regular glass cleaner will make the plastic cloudy and can soften it causing scratches. You can get Plexus at any Motorcycle shop since it is used for the plastic windshields. Novus is a plastic cleaning compound (liquid) that comes in different grits to take out scratches so it would work if it is really bad and nothing else cuts it.
