time for a new battery in the xj, I was thinking about putting a deep cycle marine battery in it, anyone know the pro's or con's of doing this? will the stock alternator charge it properly, and is there any other mods i would have to do??? don't know squat about marine stuff......... any help or suggestions would be appreciated

marine batteries are no good for auto's, they are designed to be charged, then run down, not a constant charge.
