Torque Steer
Ok after having a few other people drive it and tell me that it pulls really bad i am wondering what could be wrong with it. When I take off and accelerate it pulls right and when i let up and coast it pulls left, I am thinking i have a track bar issue and the CJ doesnt have a track bar at all in the rear end. Any ideas on what else could be wrong?

wow where to begin? you are right torque . it could be many factors . id start with the rear springs. are they week or bent . with that 304 gots loads of torque. ive had a few over the years . id most likely look at your alingment tho . what kinda lift you have ? a spring over will have torque steet bad with stock springs . do you have a lifted shackels front or rear? that will cause it to steer with some funny ways . give us some more info on your set up please and more will chime in too

It has an older skyjacker lift on it so no spring over in this one also i dont have any shackle lift. Yes the D44 is locked in the rear end and I also have front lockers in the D30. I know with most leaf springs that the alinment is key and that may be part of it as well. I was thinking if any of the rear end is loose like springs shackles etc that will cause some of it as well.

yes x2 on the lockers to do that . and id look close to wore out bushin . you said it was old . most leaf bushing if wheeled dont last long . even tire pressure cant have an affect with a locked rear .
