got to have my transmission rebuilt anyone know how, and a ball park on what it was cost to get done?
or should i just go for a jy tranny

If you have a AW-4 in it, it might be worth looking at used ones.... low mileage used ones can be had for dirt cheap.. Daveys sells them for $100 already pulled. The AW-4 is a great trans, they are just known for making a lot of heat. Add a trans cooler to it and call it good.

Oh ok, you need it for the V8 swap... got it. Shaun at Michiana Auto Pros has rebuilt a few Dodge transmissions, I know the 46/47/48s are all about the same. I know he can do valve body work as well to get it to have firmer shifts and more line pressure.
