You got any ideas for a rear tire carrier bumper for zj travis? After the long arms that will be my next build/purchase.

ben... this is about as far as i have got on the zj rear bumper.. still a work in progress.. but I'm defiantly liking it so far.

george, did he see the one i already have designed for my ZJ? its pretty similar and i could easily change it a little bit to get exactly what he wants. i just figured it would be a good starting point.

your welcome george.. im not sure how soon he is planning on doin it but im leaving for FL on Feb 9th for about 4 weeks. so i most likely wont have time until i get back. Thanks again Travis

one fabber/welder/engineer to another, i think it looks great, and as far as the thickness issues go, its better to error on the heavy side, over built is better than under built.
i really like it, how thick is the pin open plate nuder the swing pivot? i seen a bumper in a catalog, it has a roller across the bottom, interesting........
anyway, that bumper looks great! :smt006

thanks alot speeduck!! the plate that the spring pin goes into to hold it open is 1/4". any more questions or want any pics of anything let me know. i've got another one that is almost done sitting in the garage right now. im just tryin to find time to finish it now. i just bought a new AR-15 and cant seem to stay away fromt the gun range :D :D :smt021

ya i LOVE IT!! lol i just got home from there again!! heres a couple pics... the first one is my new gun and the second one is 30 rounds as far back as midwest gun range goes.. (ya ya i know its not very far) lol
