Track bar question

I picked up a used RE adjustable track bar and drop bracket for my jeep. Instead of using the heim joint and drop bracket, can i just replace the heim with a tie rod end and just use it as an adjustable track bar without the drop bracket? I think that if i use the drop bracket that it will throw my angles off in the front for the drag link and track bar being parallel. Right now they are within 1 degree of eachother so i would like to keep them where they are at.

Thanks,
Ben

Yes that is at ride height. No i am not using a drop pitman arm. Guess i will just take the track bar in to make sure that a tie rod end will thread into it.

But why would you do that? You speak of the RE1600 track bar, which can be used with your factory bracket - you simply just drill it out to 5/8 to match the bolt. I would think you'd loose some flexiblity with a factory style ball joint end as opposed to staying with the heim.

I assume this is the bracket you speak of?

This bracket "technically" is only for use with the RE1660 track bar.

Just to be clear you have this track bar...

And not this one right?
