yea it does, and we should have stenciled it before you welded it all up....and it looks like he has the same kind of work benches as my shop......rack in the hitch of the jeep.

Thanks Dustin, and Clint, I know I wouldn`t be able to duplicate the kit. The inner truss has some pieces that interlock that have some pretty specific bends in them that I couldn`t do by hand. Both UCA mounts were a bit of a pain to get locked in.
As far as the bench goes, it worked perfect for disassembly and for the welding I was able to go into work for the welding. Made things MUCH easier!

I gotta go like "he double hockey sticks" to get the rear and front done before Badlands! After Spring break I`m pulling the D35 out to finish mock up of the 8.8 and I have to regear the HP30 to 4.10. I`m gonna pull my Spartan locker out of the LP30 for the HP30 and maybe a set of 35`s if I can find a cheap used set. I also need 2ea. 1 1/2 -1 3/4 spacers for the front coils. Once the Jeep is in the air and axles out the 33" Thornbirds will be for sale... HINT HINT... I also have a D35 non c-clip w/3.55`s and a LP30 with 3.55`s from a Cherokee that will be up for sale as well as the stock axles under the Jeep now. I pitched the spiders and cross pin for the 30 when I did the Spartan (DA!). So I`ll have to get some spiders together so the 30 is complete. BTW, when the time comes I will put the parts for sale in the correct section, but since it`s my thread I figured what the heck... :D

I just need to get the garage in order so I can get the axles out. As far as tires a decent set of mud 35`s. I`ve been scouring Craigslist but need to sell the Thornbirds first. Money is tight... don`t we all know that!

Been a long HOT day..... After zeroing the truss the pinion angle is @ 18 1/2 degrees. What do you guys think?

18 1/2 degrees works great with your u-joint angle - but make sure you get some extra lub in that housing because at that angle the front pinion bearing probably wont see enough lube. I think i'd pull the sensor out of the top of the diff, and use the hole as a port to add a little extra lube.

That is just my .02 cents tho...

Looking awesome!!! LOVE the BOGGERS!!!!

I usually jack up the rear diff some, then squirt in some extra when it's full and pop the plug in. don't be surprised if you get a little seeping from the plug over time...

Roger, how much lube do you put in? Looking at the plug centerline, if I fill it to the plug then half the axle tube would be full. I added 3 1/2 quarts and hope it`s OK..... BTW, don`t have rear brakes yet as my frame brake hose won`t be in until Friday, but it made it`s shake down run today! No strange vibes and all feels good. Man did I miss my Jeep!!!!

It's been about 4 years ago i did the swap and don't recall how much it took initially. Seems like it takes about 2 1/2 when i drain and refill it but that is also due to the location of my drain plug. Keep in mind there is a point where it would be considered overfill and that is not all that good either. Sounds like you should be pretty close to normal.

Roger...
