I have a CJ7 widetrack and the guy i bought it off of made it locked up front. I was wondering if anyone could possibly take that out and have it go back to open dif. I have gone thru two steering boxes and the type of wheeling i like to do requires a tighter turning radius. If there is anyone out there that could do it for me or would recommend, please let me know thanks!

Depends on how he locked it up. If he welded it, chances are you will need a new carrier and spider gears. Have you removed the cover to look at it? Does it look like this?

last one i did i tried to save the carrier in case i wanted to go back....

I haven't opened it up too take a look. I did get s new carrier for it just in case it needed it.
