SYE Kits... good better best?
So, I will probably get many opinions here but, that's what I'm looking for. I am in the market to do the SYE on my Jeep. Ya I know it's about time! I have heard that Advanced Adapter is the way to go but, they are so much more expensive than others out there like the Rugged Ridge as low as $159. So, have any of you installed any and if so what did you go with and are you still happy with it?

i have done 4 of them, 2 rugged ridge regulars, and 2 supershort , dont recall the brand on those, 1 was in rubble's, the other in moneyshot's, you can contact them, the regulars were on chori's and i dont remember who, i think 1 company makes them all, and everyone rebox's them

Pretty much what Dave said Advanced Adapters makes 99% of them, JB Conversions & Novak Adaters build their own, they both build super short kits. You should be good with about any of the kits on the market as long as it comes with a new shaft, I'd probably stay away from a "Hack-n-Tap" type kit. Just my .02 worth

Yep, x2 (Dave/Rolland)...
Also be careful with the fluid pickup tube if your doing it yourself. I have done them in the rig and out of the rig - and let me tell ya OUT of the rig is much, MUCH, much eaiser (especially if its your first time in the rodeo). lol
