It's only Wed. and I already have 44 hours in at work. Last weekend I had to rebuild the posi in the Dodge, and fix an oil leak that required me to take all of my twin turbo set up off and then worked Sat..... And I'm working this Sunday and then will be out of town for almost 2 weeks... I guess the Jeep is kinda at a stand still hahah. _________________ 1997 Cummins Ram

Well, I was able to work on the Jeep last weekend and I'm just getting pictures up.. .
Anyways, It seems everywhere the frame is curved I need it to be flat..
Frame stock.
Frame with 2.5" square welded in to make it flat.
With the coil mount welded in.
I had to do the same thing with the track bar.
I have to put a lift pump on the Dodge this weekend and I'm back out of town from Mon-Sat. so no working on the Jeep for a little while again. _________________ 1997 Cummins Ram

I work to much... I have been home less than 3 days in the last 3 weeks and I'm out of town all this week (till Sun) and then all next week.
I bought high steer arms from Total Perf. Online, and after getting them, I didn't like how they were set up. I ended up ordering ballistic ones to use instead. I got the rear track bar mocked up with PVC, now I just need to decide... sleeve the PVC or make it out of .25 wall DOM..
I'm going to try to order my ARB air locker for the rear, 5.38 gears and installs for the front and rear, and compressor this week
I bought some LED lights for the front turn/marker, marker, rear back up, and license plate. I have some 4" round LED lights I might use for the rear. They should all be here this week.
It's looking like ill be right around 7' to the top of the windshield frame with the 40s on it. I'm going to have about 6" of up travel in the rear, and I'm not sure yet in the front. Maybe more in the rear if I cut the floor out and make a little clearance for the track bar. (it hits the tub at full stuff.) _________________ 1997 Cummins Ram

Well It's looking like I'm going to have sat-mon off!!!!! JEEP TIME!!! I ordered my gears (5.38s) install kits, rear ARB (front already has one) compressor and all the little things needed to hook up the front one. I'm hoping to have the front and rear suspension and steering finished this weekend. _________________ 1997 Cummins Ram

Well I got to work on it this weekend. I'll let the pics do the talking.
Sitting at ride height with 33" tires on it. It's looking like I might have to add a small spacer up front to level it out.
I flexed it out as much as I could with what I had. There is still a lot more left in the rear.

rear gears- on its way
rear install kit- on its way
everything to do disk brakes except the caliper brackets- bought
front gears- on its way
minor install kit- on its way
steering (1 ton TREs) waiting to pull the pitman arm off. All the TREs are here and ready to go.
front tube fenders- have the material just need to cut 3" out of the hood and mock it all up.
rock sliders- 4x4 angle 1/4" thick waiting in the shop
lug nuts- still need to buy, using misc. ones I found laying around for now.
trans temp gauge- in the works
oil pressure gauge- in the works
exhaust- once everything else is done
rear bumper- 2x4x1/4"square waiting to become a bumper
extend drive shafts- going to make all new drive shafts
Bought 1410 yokes for the NV241 (Tom woods) and for the axles (ebay)
Weld on beadlocks will be here this week from greatlakesoffroad.com
I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to work on it, I have to put pinion bearings, an alternator, and my traction bars on the Dodge, but I should still have a lot of time to work on the Jeep. _________________ 1997 Cummins Ram

I'd have more pics but I have been working to much. I should be able to work on it this weekend so Ill have some pics soon. The 3" body lift is going on at the same time as the spinner hub caps, chrome washer fluid squirters, and the "if you can read this roll me over" sticker _________________ 1997 Cummins Ram
