Michiana Jeep Club
MJC provides an opportunity to meet and get to know fellow Jeep
owners. We are about sharing experiences, knowledge and friendships.
Driving a Jeep
No matter what model of Jeep we drive, club members embrace the
fact that driving a jeep is an adventure. It’s the freedom
of knowing you can make that hill or traverse that creek or blast
through a snow covered field with confidence and safety that no
other vehicle gives you.
Trails
Many members participate in trail rides such as Badland
ORV in Attica Indiana or Silver
Lake in Michigan. As opportunities develop we will organize
rides at the mentioned locations and on private properties as
they become available. Members are always up for a adventure!
Meetings / meet-ups
We hold Club meetings the second Monday of each month @ Lochmandy
Motors (Our official MJC Clubhouse). There may be times when
a special location will be announced for an alternate meeting
place. A calendar of events will be posted on our website.
MJC plans on summer restaurant gatherings, another opportunity
to show off our rigs! We will be looking into various events such
as: Poker runs, road rallies, cook outs and even geocaching.
Camp Jeep
MJC members are very excited about Camp Jeep 2007 this year, being
held in Blue Ridge Mountains, VA. Club members are already booking
accommodations at Montebello campgrounds. Last time Camp Jeep
was held in VA. 2004 10,000 Jeep owners and their families participated.
Crabtree Falls Campground is 1 mi away in case Montebello gets
filled.
Community Events
MJC will participate in Toys
for Tots this year in conjunction with Lochmandy Motors. They
successfully provide hundreds of toys for children each year.
